I’m aware that it’s half term this week however I’ve added some work for your children should you need any. It’s a fun week with lots of games for them to play so you may want to dip into some of the lessons on each day. Please don’t feel you have to complete it as they are probably very tired and will need a break. You may need one too!
Good Morning Reception
Did you all enjoy designing a new house covered in sweets for Hansel and Gretel? I’m sure they looked good enough to eat!
Here is your work for this week – Jack and the Beanstalk. Make sure the giant doesn’t catch you!
Here is your work for next week, I hope you enjoy the story of Hansel and Gretel. I’m looking forward to seeing your designs for a new house for Hansel and Gretel to live in.
Jack and the beanstalk is next week.
I hope you’re ready for another weeks work. Thank you to all of you who have sent work in for me to see, it’s been lovely seeing you all hard at work in your kitchens making gingerbread men. For the next 2 weeks in writing you will be learning the story of the Enormous Turnip and Jack and the Beanstalk.
I look forward to seeing more of your amazing work!
Here is your work for the next week.
Feel free to do as much or as little as you wish.
I hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter and enjoyed lots of yummy Easter eggs!
I have included a topic web to keep you busy for the next few weeks. You can choose to complete any task from the grid, feel free to do as many as you want. The daily plans are also here for you. There are packs, identical to the above, in school for you to collect if you don’t have a printer or have run out of ink!
Here is the work for Tuesday 31 March. I would really like to see some of the writing and artwork you have been doing at home over the past week so if you would like to send it to me, I can look at it and put some onto the blog. Please do let me know if you are okay with your child’s work going onto the website.
The easiest way to send it to me is via Cat in the office.
Thank you, stay safe and I look forward to receiving some of your wonderful work.
As well as the daily work set for your children, there will be 3 more booklets to collect next Friday ready for the Easter holidays. Two focus on letter formation and pencil control and the other is an Easter pack with lots of fun activities.
Hope you enjoy them!
I’m sure you’re all working hard on your work packs and are enjoying the different activities. Starting from tomorrow I will be putting a daily lesson guide on the Reception page that you can follow if you want something a little more structured.
Here are some websites that you can use to play games with your children:
